Rafael A. Perales, Senior Trader

Began his investment career as a private trader in 1994. He subsequently became a Series 7 licensed stock broker specializing in large and small cap equities, sophisticated options strategies and bonds at American Income Securities, Inc. With a partner he co-founded Credit First Fund LLP in 2001, which purchased discounted banking instruments. He was responsible for capital financing and operations management, and the fund grew to over $255 million of assets under management. In 2003 he began another fund; this time in the foreign currency market, where he teamed up with Asian money managers with a gamma strategy, and traded the Japanese Yen, Euro and British Pound. Rafael joined AmerFX in 2006 as a Senior Trader, market commentator and currency strategist bringing over twelve years of investment experience to the table. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University , San Bernardino .
